Good Afternoon Everyone, Just thought I would share! We just had a wonderful Second Fridays program at Barrington Area Library. Pat Gaughan and L.J. Slavin did a "Harvest Harmony" program of folk and civil war tunes. They also play a variety of other genres. Pat and L.J. have a great stage presence and quickly warmed up our crowd. Pat sings in a clear voice while playing the guitar. L.J. is fantastic with groups of all ages as he performs on a number of instruments, such as the mandolin, jaw harp, "garage sale saw", electric violin, penny whistle, banjo and more. They really had the crowd engaged and they began to sing along with some of the popular folk songs. Many patrons came up and said how much they loved the performance and it was one of the best performances we have had. Book them soon! The group sold out of their CDs. Pat Gaughan is the contact, patgaughan@patgaughan.com and she is delightful to work with. We highly recommend them! Eileen Gallagher, Adult Services Librarian Barrington Area Library 505 N.
