Pat Gaughan and Nancy Maio, both accomplished musicians in their own right, have collaborated their musical talents, presenting programs of traditional Irish music, folk, Blues, Americana and original compositions. They have performed throughout the Midwest, playing at clubs, Festivals, Colleges, and headlining Concert series. As a duo they combine Pat’s rich voice and intricate guitar playing with Nancy’s instrumental virtuosity on the fiddle.
Nancy is active as a violin teacher and performs with several local orchestras including the Racine Symphony, the Festival City Symphony, and the Wisconsin Philharmonic. In addition, she is sought after as an Irish Step Dance competition musician. Pat teaches World Music and guitar at Mchenry County College. Her educational background informs their performances.
Pat and Nancy collaborated on Pat’s Irish album, “Parting Glass” which has received airplay on public radio stations in the U.K. and the states. It is available on Amazon and CD Baby.
